The Beacon Tower level affects the information you get when scouting!

I was told just the opposite, and could locate no reference material proving or disproving this claim. In order to clear this up, I did an experiment and sent 7000 scouts with the same hero from my town to the same enemy town nine times.

First I sent with no Beacon Tower in my town, then a level 1 Beacon Tower, and so on. I kept the Academy level (level 6) and the informatics level (level 9) constant. These were my results:

After reviewing the reports I received, I had no alternative but to conclude that your Beacon Tower level does in fact effect the information you get when scouting!

I encourage anyone who doubts this to recreate my test conditions, and review their own results.
